Our Client is seeking askilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electricalinstallation maintenance and repair activities within ourshipbuilding organization. The candidate will play a pivotal rolein ensuring that electrical systems onboard vessels meet thehighest industry standards and regulatoryrequirements.
Responsibilites
- Directand oversee all electrical installation maintenance and repairactivities onboard vessels ensuring compliance with projectspecifications safety regulations and qualitystandards.
- Utilize your certification as anassessor or readiness to obtain one to assess and certifyelectrical systems and personnel as per organizational andregulatory requirements.
- Leverage yourexperience working at prominent shipbuilding organizations tointroduce and implement best practices in electrical operations.Share knowledge and insights to enhance efficiency quality andsafety.
- Ensure that all electrical activitiesadhere to top classification society standards and requirementssuch as IACS ABS BV DNV LR RINA etc. Maintain accuratedocumentation to demonstratecompliance.
- Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams including engineering procurement quality assurance andproject management to ensure seamless coordination and execution ofelectrical activities.
- Effectively manageresources including manpower materials and equipment to optimizeelectrical processes and meet projectdeadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelorsdegree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred withadditional certifications or training in marine electrical systemsbeing advantageous
- Proficient Englishcommunication skills with a minimum IELTS band score of 7 orequivalent essential for mentoring trainees and documenting theirprogress.
- Documented history of being acertified assessor or eligibility to become one demonstrating theability to assess and certify electrical systems andpersonnel.
- Proven track record of working atprominent shipbuilding organizations with significant experience inelectrical operations. Bring along best practices and behaviors toenhance operations.
- Demonstrated experienceworking on projects adhering to top classification societystandards/requirements such as IACS ABS BV DNV LR RINAetc.
