Job Summary

We arecurrently seeking an experienced Process Simulation and Modelingprofessional to join our team at the Global ManufacturingExcellence (GME). At GME we offer topnotch technical support torefineries NGLF and petrochemical plants owned by This Company andits affiliates worldwide including facilities in Saudi Arabia. Yourprimary role will be to provide expert guidance and support todebottleneck process operations and optimize through processsimulation technologies. You will lead improvement initiatives forall operating departments within our Global ManufacturingPortfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Streamline Process Simulation &Optimization objectives with corporate goals and develop programbest practices monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) toenhance Process Simulation and modeling performance.
  • Lead and develop Process Simulation models for refineriesand NGL fractionations using dynamic or steadystate simulationsoftware applications.
  • Perform processsimulations and modeling using specialized software tools toanalyze refinery processes and optimize theirperformance.
  • Develop and maintainthermodynamic models and mathematical equations accuratelyrepresenting the behavior of various refinery processes.
  • Verify simulation model accuracy by comparing resultswith actual plant data and conducting sensitivityanalyses.
  • Identify areas for processimprovements and propose modifications or optimizations to increaseefficiency reduce costs or meet regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for performance improvementto increase yields and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze chronic problems and debottleneck complex modelsto enhance process operations and economic benefits.
  • Conduct safety assessments to evaluate the impact ofpotential process changes or plant modifications.
  • Lead technical sessions such as design reviews modelreviews and commissioning.
  • Provide subjectmatter expertise to operating facilities Operations Maintenance andEngineering teams through consulting awareness sessions andparticipation in technical exchanges and conferences.
  • Conduct benchmarks business case studies and pilotevaluations of process simulation technologies.
  • Review standards and General Instructions for the GMEdepartments and act as a leading Subject Matter Expert(SME).
  • Prepare detailed reports andpresentations to communicate simulation results findings andrecommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaboratewith other engineers researchers and vendors to contribute to thedevelopment of new simulation software tools methodologies andtechniques.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree inChemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years ofexperience with Process Simulation and Modelingtechnologies.
  • Demonstrated expertise inprocess engineering and flowsheetbased processessimulation.
  • Comprehensive understanding ofrefinery facilities feedstock/product movements margins giveawaysprocess yields and mass and energy balances.
  • Familiarity with international standards andspecifications for advanced process control and processmodeling.
  • Exceptional analytical andtroubleshooting skills in the field of advanced processsolutions.
  • Strong leadership skills toeffectively manage technical discussions and guide technicalteams.
