Job Summary

We areseeking a Downstream Chemical Engineer with experience in chemicalsmainly in olefins aromatics & synthetic rubber manufacturing tojoin our Affiliates Manufacturing Excellence Department (AMED)Affiliates Manufacturing Excellence Department (AMED) is amultifunctional business unit and a front office setup to overseeThis Company Affiliates operational performance manage HSSE andfacilitate driving manufacturing excellence across the portfolio.AMED Acts as the primary interface between This Company andAffiliates by advising coordinating assuring and prompting services& support and conducting Affiliates manufacturing performanceanalysis and benchmarking. Your primary role will be to providetechnical expertise in conducting benchmarking and analyzing theperformance of Global Manufacturing chemicals assets. You will alsobe expected to provide support in closing the performance gapsidentified in the benchmarking process.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer Solomon benchmarking studies forGlobal Manufacturing facilities.
  • Collectverify and review data quality during benchmarking in GlobalManufacturing Affiliates facilities.
  • Assesscompetitive positions based on Solomon benchmarkingresults.
  • Document findings and recommendationsfor presentation to Global Manufacturing management andaffiliates.
  • Lead the planning and execution ofsolutions to address identified performance gaps.
  • Create expense/margin optimization plans for GlobalManufacturing Affiliates facilities.
  • Coordinate with affiliates to establish performancetargets and track progress using Solomon metrics.
  • Evaluate the future impact of planned capitalimprovements.
  • Develop regular benchmarkingreports with Solomon metrics for all Global Manufacturingaffiliates facilities.

Requirements:

  • This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
  • Bachelors degree inChemical Engineering or a related field; advanced degreepreferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experiencein refinery and/or chemical process units with at least 5 yearsspecializing in Solomon benchmarking and metricanalysis.
  • Essential working knowledge ofrefinery and chemical industry process plantcharacteristics.
  • Ability to facilitatetechnical discussions and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and data visualization toolsis essential.
