Job Summary

We areseeking an Insurance Risk Specialist to join Insurance Management& Advisory Division (IMAD) of Financial Risk ManagementDepartment (FRMD) at This Company. IMAD is within Treasury and itsfunction is to provide support across the Company through theidentification quantification and mitigation of casualty risks andto reduce the cost of insured and uninsured loss to the Company itssubsidiaries and affiliates. The Insurance Risk Specialist willanalyze risk exposures design strategies and procure insurance toprotect assets and mitigate the liabilities of a growing company.The Insurance Risk Specialist will be involved in all aspects ofthe Divisions wideranging activities.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communicationskills to establish credibility with internal and externalstakeholders.
  • Be flexible teamoriented andable to work with minimal supervision meeting challenging deadlinesand effectively planning and coordinating workloads for self andothers.
  • Deliver work of the highest qualityand proactively address issues to ensure successfuldelivery.
  • Possess strong project managementskills understanding contractual risks and providing logical andinnovative solutions to complex issues.
  • Applyknowledge of captive insurance companies and develop strategies tomitigate or transfer risk.
  • Analyze critiqueand draft risk allocation indemnity insurance and other contractprovisions.
  • Negotiate implement and administerinsurance and reinsurance placement structures including utilizingcaptive or alternative finance and transfer mechanisms.
  • Develop and advise on the implementation of risk andinsurance policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to relocate toDhahran Saudi Arabia.
  • Hold aBachelors or Masters degree preferably in insurance or riskmanagement from an accredited program. A professional certificationsuch as ACII CMIRM SIRM or CPCU is preferred.
  • Possess a minimum of 12 years experience in the oil &gas petrochemical industry or a major corporateorganization.
  • Have significant relevantcorporate risk and insurance expertise acquired from industryinternational broking risk management or insurance companybackground.
  • Ideally have experience in theenergy and petrochemical industry sector.
