Job Summary

We areseeking a Financial Analyst to join the Affiliates Support Divisionof the Affiliates Support and Financial Consulting Department(AS&FCD). Finance representatives are periodically selectedfrom our pool of analysts and placed in CFO/Controllershippositions with one of the Companys business lines subsidiariesglobal operations or megaprojects. AS&FCD is a part of theFinance Strategy & Development Business Line in This Companyand reports to the Controllers organization. AS&FCD isresponsible for providing support to senior management and variousbusiness lines as it relates to JV matters. This support isprovided through management reporting financial analysis financialadvisory services and financial reporting. As a Financial Analystyou will have an opportunity to further expand professional andinterpersonal skills. Potential assignments can be diverse as SaudiArabia moves forward to meet the countrys growing demand for energyand as the Company continues to diversify and expand its globalfootprint. You will be expected to arrive with the requisiteaccounting financial and managerial skills to perform the requiredduties. Upon arrival at This Company you will focus on acclimatingto the Companys governance policies and culture. You will possesssignificant relevant experience within one or more industries andwill be considered a subject matter expert for that industry. Youshould have demonstrated financial and accounting skills thatinclude the ability to evaluate both industry and individualcompany information and comprehend advanced accounting topics andtaxation. You must be able to work with minimal supervision andpossess good project management skills.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Prepare accounting entries for Affiliatesinvestments.
  • Review board materials forAffiliates and prepare commentary and analysis for boardmembers.
  • Perform financial analysis onAffiliates and projects.
  • Perform financialmodeling and business support due diligence.
  • Provide ad hoc support as required.
  • Manage the daytoday accounting function.
  • Monitor internal financial controls and resolvedeficiencies.
  • Monitor for compliance withcorporate governance best practices.
  • Ensurecompliance with Company policies and project documents.
  • Work with management on preparation and presentation offinancial forecasts.
  • Manage the planning &budgeting function.
  • Oversee cash managementand financing activities.
  • Provide jointventure and M&A integration support.
  • Briefthe controllers organization on operational matters new projectsand initiatives.
  • Support management on complexaccounting and finance matters.
  • Coordinateother internal finance support as needed to support businessinitiatives and projects.
  • Make presentationsto management as needed.
  • Utilize strongmanagement skills towards operational needs.
  • Apply JV accounting skills (equityaccounting/consolidation).
  • Apply managementaccounting principles.
  • Apply analytics tofinancial data.
  • Possess the ability to managecompeting priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrateeffective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multiculturalenvironment.
  • Establish personal credibilitywith various internal clients.
  • Demonstrateexcellent interpersonal and engagement skills.
  • Be a team player able to plan and coordinate workload andmeet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to relocate toDhahran Saudi Arabia.
  • Hold aBachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Possess advanced professional competencies evidenced byprofessional certification such as CPA CA or CFA.
  • A postgraduate degree such as an MBA isdesirable.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years ofrelevant experience including but not limited to:
    • Financial reporting
    • Accountingresearch
    • International taxation
    • Financial analysis
    • Financialmodeling
    • Business development
    • Mergers & acquisitions
    • Corporategovernance
    • Internal controls
    • Financing & cash management
    • Consulting
  • Familiarity with International Financial ReportingStandards (IFRS) and SAP is desirable.
  • Industry experience in chemicals power generation or oil& gas is preferred.
  • Proficiency in oraland written English is required.
