Job Summary

We are seeking a Project Engineer to work with our GlobalManufacturing Excellence team to support the Projects andTurnaround & Inspection Shared Services Department(P&TSSD). P&TSSD are responsible for the planning andexecution of our Downstream projects and the turnarounds of GlobalManufacturing facilities. Your primary role will be to manage andcoordinate activities inhouse and for thirdparty projects inaddition to coordinating and directing relevant staff to ensurefull compliance with all project requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance in projectplanning project execution and/or project control.
  • Resolve project management problems related to your areaof expertise including project planning deficiencies projectquality defects (in engineering procurement or construction)schedule slippages and potential cost overruns.
  • Work closely with project engineers and other projectprofessionals to provide work direction and guidance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve projectplanning cost schedule and/or quality.
  • Participate in the development of standards guidelinesinstructions policies and procedures on an asrequiredbasis.
  • Participate in the reviews andevaluation of the capabilities of Engineering & Constructioncontractors suppliers and project management related serviceproviders.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelors degreein engineering preferably in mechanical industrial or electricalengineering.
  • Have a minimum of 10 yearsexperience in project management events within the petroleum orrelated industry including direct experience with PreCommissioningCommissioning and Startup.
