Job Summary

We areseeking a Strategy Specialist to join the Strategy BD & MarketImpact Division of the LTC Business & Project DevelopmentDepartment. The Strategy BD & Market Impact Division isresponsible for four main areas: Strategy & BusinessDevelopment Market Intelligence Economical & Financial analysisand general program support. The Strategy Specialist primary roleis to review the strategy and critically comment on the strategicimplications of the external business environment on the strategy& business results. Collect and analyze the shareholderexpectations macroeconomic and market trends market research datafor Downstream petrochemicals and actual business performance. Scanthe competitive landscape to find opportunities of expansion andbusiness development. The candidate will also coordinate thedevelopment of new strategy provide analytical support andfacilitate strategic decisionmaking.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Strategy Advisor for the Liquid toChemical program and related issues providing strategic andprocessrelated insights to the LTC Business & ProjectDevelopment Department.
  • Provide commercial andtechnical expertise in executing the downstream strategy includingevaluating strategic options identifying tradeoffs and developingimplementation plans.
  • Play a leading role inthe development and updates of the LTCs Strategy in collaborationwith other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across various businessand support lines.
  • Generate and proposestrategic options to management supported by appropriateanalysis.
  • Initiate organize and overseemanagementapproved studies and investigations related to planningand program implementation.
  • Provide expertsupport to the concerned division to ensure the success ofprojects.
  • Mentor train and develop youngprofessionals in the field.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelors degreein Engineering Economics Business Administration Accounting Financeor a closely related specialty.
  • An MBA or arelevant advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • Have a minimum of 15 years of experience in strategydevelopment strategic planning and scenario planning within the oiland gas and petrochemicals industry.
  • Possess acombination of technical operational commercial and strategicexperience which is highly desirable.
