The role
We are looking for a TalentAcquisition Specialist to join our MENA talent acquisition team ina newly created position based in our Riyadh office. The rolereports to our Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist based in Dubaiwith a dotted line to the Head of Global Talent Acquisition basedin London.
In accordance with Saudi Labor lawthis position requires the candidate to be a Saudi National.
The TA Specialist will play an instrumentalrole as a strategic recruiting partner mapping and sourcingcandidates and managing the full lifecycle recruitment process forpositions in Saudi Arabia but also across our MENA offices asrequired.
The ideal candidate for this positionwill be Arabicspeaking and have a strong knowledge of the SaudiArabia market and have strong research skills coupled with theability to provide a bestinclass candidate experience.
This role requires the ability to quickly become an expertin the communications and advisory space so that you can buildpipelines of talent in our key hiring verticals provideintelligence to the business and help us to meet not only immediatehiring needs but emerging ones too.
Responsibilities:
- Manages full life cycle recruiting: maps and sourcescandidates conducts phone screen interviews maintains relationshipswith candidates throughout the interview process makesrecommendations on hiring decisions drafts employment agreementschecks candidate references gathers required documents (visaseducation information) and negotiates and prepares offers.
- Partners with business leaders andMENA/Global Talent Acquisition team to understand short andlongterm needs across the business to identify passive and activecandidates and over time build strong candidate pipelines.
- Maps identifies and builds pipelines ofshortterm/parttime and fulltime talent across key hiring verticals.
- Expands and leverages external networks;builds relationships with professional groups and educationalinstitutions and promotes APCO employer brand.
- Ensures a positive candidate experience by conductinghiring manager interview training and maintaining regular contactwith candidates throughout their interview process.
- Supports on employer branding activity for the region andcontributes to global employer brand initiatives.
- Partners with Finance Resourcing and HR team to forecastquarterly and annual hiring needs by office.
- Is a member of the global TA function at APCO andcoordinates and collaborates with recruiters in other regions tooptimize sourcing networks and enhance candidate engagement.
- Partners with other team members to identifyprocess improvement opportunities.
- Stayscurrent and proactive in identifying latest best practices anddevelopments in talent acquisition including appropriate technologyand social media tools.
Qualifications:
- At least three years experience in recruiting roles inMENA. Experience in recruiting in Saudi Arabia is a plus.
- Prior experience in a professional servicesor agency environment is preferred.
- Strongproject management experience. Able to map and pipeline talenteffectively.
- Demonstrated ability to deployeffective tools and practices to successful talent sourcing andacquisition.
- Proven track record ofdelivering strong candidates for critical projects/roles.
- Good understanding of behavioral and caseinterviewing techniques.
- Strong written andpresentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively atall levels and across cultures.
- Collaborativeteam player who also has the ability to work independently takeinitiative and set priorities.
- Ability towork in a fastpaced environment under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit talent think analyticallyand develop creative solutions especially for difficult candidatesearches.
- Bachelors degree from an accreditedcollege or university or equivalent
