Shift:First (7-4 or 8-5)

Location:Hibbing, MN

Base Salary:$70-80K

Responsibilities:

• Responsiblefor health and safety of all teammembers.
  
• Performa variety of engineering assignments in developing and implementingproduction/processing methods and controls to meet qualitystandards in the most cost-efficientmanner.
  
• Recommendand implement improvements and/or modifications in sequence ofoperations, equipment utilization, tooling and relatedmatters.
  
• Monitorassigned operations to assure compliance with current projectschedule and approved methods of qualitystandards.
  
• Recommenddesign modifications or process changes where justifiable bycost/design studies to permit manufacture by the most favorablemethod.
  
• Workwith assigned customer accounts on product and tooling designs.Procure production tools and work with existing products tooptimize efficiencies such as scrap, yield, molding rates,etc.
  
• Investigateand assist in corrective/preventative actions for reportedconcerns.
  
• Establishand maintain customer files, including engineering standards,blueprints and other associated materials andinformation.
  
• Coordinateactivities with patternshop.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Extensiveknowledge, skill and ability in the area of engineering relatedcomputer systems/capabilities (CAD, CAE, Pro-E,etc.)
  
• Knowledgeof 2-D CAD/CAMsystem.
  
• Abilityto read and understand engineering drawings andGD&T.
  
• Abilityto understand and implement APQP, PPAP, FMEA and ControlPlans.
  
• Abilityto use advanced engineering techniques for problem resolution(FMEA, designed experiment,etc.).
  
• Proficientknowledge of PC software applications including Word, Excel, 4D,Docushare and mainframe software (e.g.Blis-400).
  
• Abilityto prepare jobs for running on Magma simulationtechnology.
  
• Abilityto utilize 8D problem solvingmethodology.
  
• Proficientproject and time managementskills.
  
• Proficientwritten and verbal communication skills for presentation andtechnical reportwriting.
