Job Summary

We are seeking a Downstream Technology Consultant to joinour Global Manufacturing Excellence Organization under ourtechnical support team.

The technical support isa multidisciplinary team responsible for providing the requiredhigh quality technical support to GM operating facilities(Refineries NGLF and petrochemical plants) inside the Kingdom ofSaudi Arabia & across the globe.

Yourprimary role will be to support the Technology roadmap anddeployment programs which are aimed at maximizing the technologyvalue realization utilization and benefits by deploying innovativeand efficient solutions and technologies across GlobalManufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with This Company Global Manufacturingorganizations business and engineering stakeholders to identifyevaluate develop and support technology deploymentprograms.
  • Identify and establish a network ofstrategic technology engineering partnerships to acceleratedeployment and provide effective pre and postdeploymentsupport.
  • Develop technology roadmaps incollaboration with Global Manufacturing Excellence subject matterexperts and corporate organizations.
  • Leadportfolio analysis and reviews to prioritize technology portfoliosoffering insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with This Companys Downstream and EngineeringServices organizations to develop consolidated forecast programsand investment plans.
  • Foster a sharedunderstanding of longterm business needs prioritized deploymentscenarios technology challenges and performance criteria foreffective technology solutions.
  • Define a valuehypothesis for minimum viable products that satisfy business needsvalidate marketspecific use cases and value propositions andsupport technology business case development and technoeconomicevaluation.
  • Develop and deliver technologydeployment plans for each project including opportunities forintellectual property exploitation.

Requirements:

  • This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
  • Hold a Bachelors Degreein a Science or Engineering discipline with a preference for anadvanced degree such as an MBA or Finance.
  • Possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in technologyscouting research and development with at least 5 years in productdevelopment technology marketing and exposure to energyrelatedand/or softwarerelated technology licensing.
  • Finance experience in downstream refinery chemicalsnatural gas distribution energy services alternative or renewableenergy engineering and technology innovation isrequired.
  • Demonstrate expertise across theStrategytoValue technology lifecycle including R&D and IPstrategy engineering scaleup project development economicevaluation supply chain development risk evaluation and mitigationas well as strategy and business development.
  • Have extensive experience in developing business casesfor new strategies or products.
