Overview

Weare seeking a Senior Data Manager and Analyst to join theExploration Geospatial & Data Management Solutions Divisionof Exploration. The Exploration Geospatial & DataManagement Solutions Division is responsible for overseeing thedevelopment and use of data systems within Saudi Aramco. Inaddition ensuring effective data management formulating datacapturing governance quality analytics as well as automationtechniques. Also managing Explorations structured unstructured andgeospatial data. The data analysts primary role is to visualize andinterpret data analyze results and take steps to ensure that thedata is governed and of good quality.

Duties& Responsibilities
  • Create andenforce policies for effective datamanagement.
  • Design data visualization solutionsto monitor structured unstructured and geospatial data and trackExploration business processes.
  • Championdevelopment and deployment of data analytics solutions to supportbusiness decision making.
  • Assist with technicalreports and data structuring whenneeded.
  • Perform data exploration and analysisto detect data quality and integrity issues provide solutions tomeasure and correct defects.
  • Devise andimplement efficient and secure procedures for data handling andanalysis to enhance data integrity and security with attention toall technical aspects.
  • Contribute toExploration data business processes identify gaps and recommendimprovements.
  • Lead and manage projects thatsupport the digital transformation.
  • Conductmeetings with Exploration business stakeholders and gather datamanagement requirements.
  • Serve as a datamanagement representative and facilitate communication between theapplication developers and businessstakeholders.
  • Mentor youngprofessionals.
MinimumRequirements
  • As the successfulcandidate you will hold a Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceComputer Engineering or a related field from a recognized andapproved program.
  • You will have a minimum of 10years professional experience in data analysis or data managementpreferably in the oil and gas explorationindustry.
  • You will be able to demonstrate yourknowledge of the DAMA data management framework. CDMP certificationis preferred.
  • You must have strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge ofrelational and/or dimensional database models is also necessary.You must be able to write complex SQL queries. Experience with bigdata is preferred.
  • Experience with BI/dataanalytics software is preferred.
  • Experiencewith geology and geophysics software ispreferred.
  • Understanding of enterprise dataarchitecture is preferred.
  • Excellentcommunication and collaborationskills.
