Objective

TheQA/QC Manager will oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) toensure compliance with API ISO and other relevant standardsensuring product quality and continuous improvementwithin the organization soperations.



RequirementsPrincipalAccountabilities
  • QMSOversight: Establish implement and maintain the QualityManagement System in accordance with API6A API16A API16C ISO 9001API Spec Q1 CE PED/2014/68/EU and other environmentalstandards.
  • QualityPolicy and Objectives: Define and communicate the qualitypolicy and objectives ensuring they align with the strategicdirection of theorganization.
  • BusinessIntegration: Integrate QMS requirements into the companys businessprocesses.
  • ResourceManagement: Allocate necessary resources to support theQMSeffectively.
  • QualityAssurance Communication: Promote the importance ofquality management and adherence to QMSrequirements.
  • InternalAudits: Plan and conduct internal audits analyze resultsand implement corrective actions asneeded.
  • ManagementReviews: Organize and lead Management Review Meetings(MRM) reporting QMS performance to topmanagement.
  • QualityAwareness: Foster organizationwide awareness of qualitystandards and customerrequirements.
  • NonConformities:Initiate actions to prevent nonconformists and manage changeseffectively.
  • PersonnelTraining: Identify and coordinate training needs forQA/QCpersonnel.
  • StandardsMaintenance: Maintain uptodate standards andspecifications within the QMSframework.
  • PerformanceMonitoring: Manage and update KPIs and quality objectivesensuring continuousimprovement.
  • ThirdPartyInteraction: Coordinate with thirdparty inspectors (TPI)and manage related quotations deliverables invoices andaudits.
  • Customerand Supplier Interaction: Handle customer complaintsfield nonconformist supplier audits and support qualitydocumentationprocesses.
Authorities
  • Approvecritical documents and procedures such as COC DOC supplierapprovals and productrelease.
  • Holdproduction activities in the event of qualityissues.
  • Liaisedirectly with API and other regulatorybodies.
  • Authorizetraining calibration plans and the use of API monogramstamping.
KeyCompetencies
  • Indepthknowledge of API ASME PED ISO and other internationalstandards.
  • Proficientin NDT Level II methods including Ultrasonic Testing MagneticParticle Testing and Liquid PenetrantTesting.
  • Strongdecisionmaking planning and communicationskills.
  • Excellentinterpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate ateam.

  • Minimumof 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industryspecifically in a Quality Control/Quality Assurancecapacity.
  • Diplomain Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in a relatedfield.

  • Conductsupplier audits in coordination with the PurchasingDepartment.
  • Providecustomer support on quality issues documentation andcomplaints.
  • DeliverQMS awareness traininginternally.
  • Activelypromote a positive safety culture within theorganization.

Principal Accountabilities QMS Oversight: Establish, implement, andmaintain the Quality Management System in accordance with API6A,API16A, API16C, ISO 9001, API Spec Q1, CE PED/2014/68/EU, and otherenvironmental standards. Third-Party Interaction: Coordinate with third-partyinspectors (TPI) and manage related quotations, deliverables,invoices, and audits. Customer and Supplier Interaction: Handlecustomer complaints, field non-conformities, supplier audits, andsupport quality documentation processes.
