The opportunity

Project: This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major luxury mixed-use development. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking Associate Director - Cost to join our established and growing team in Saudi.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Responsible for the business performance of your sector team**.**:

- Establishing an annual business plan for the program that you lead.
- Developing client relationships within your program and lead the client engagement with the project delivery of your team.
- Accountable for the Cost Management deliverables for your team(s) across the entire project lifecyle.
- Highly competent in the measurement of quantities for input into cost models, cost plans, cost estimates and bills of quantities using both traditional and digital methods as you will act as the lead in QAQC for your team(s) deliverables.
- Undertaking viability studies and cost estimating throughout the design stages with an emphasis on cost control and design to budget.
- Leading in communicating budgets to Design Teams and be proactive in advising how the design develops in line with agreed budget.
- Working effectively with and supporting an independent cost consultancy in the execution of key deliverables, including, but not limited to, bills of quantities, pre-tender estimates, budget/cost plans.
- Management and implementation of cost management activities, systems and processes in accordance with the scope of service. The role will also take a lead role in interacting with clients, project cost consultant and other consultants at all project stages.
