Sihamco Group is seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to oversee our Steakhouse or Beef Bar kitchen operations. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing high-quality and innovative steak and beef dishes, supervising the kitchen staff, and ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation. Responsibilities

  • Develop and plan menus for the Steakhouse or Beef Bar, focusing on high-quality steak and beef dishes
  • Create and execute recipes that showcase the best flavors and textures of various cuts of beef
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
  • Manage and guide the kitchen staff, providing training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Monitor food costs and kitchen expenses, making strategic decisions to optimize profitability
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source the highest quality ingredients and products
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and techniques, incorporating innovative ideas into menu development
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Manage inventory and control waste to minimize food and cost inefficiencies

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Head Chef in a steakhouse or beef-focused restaurant
  • Passion for high-quality steak and beef dishes, with in-depth knowledge of cooking techniques and flavor pairings
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to oversee kitchen operations
  • Extensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Creative mindset and ability to develop innovative menu concepts
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
