Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Specialist with knowledge in waste management or industrial services to join our team. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our business in the waste management and industrial services sector through strategic planning, market analysis, and development of new business opportunities. Your expertise and experience in this field will play a critical role in expanding our customer base and increasing revenue.

Job Description:

  • Conduct market research and analysis specific to the waste management and industrial services sector to identify potential business opportunities and target markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans tailored to the waste management and industrial services sector to generate leads, attract new clients, and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the waste management and industrial services industry, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in waste management and industrial services, including partnerships, collaborations, and acquisitions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes specific to waste management and industrial services that may impact our business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure successful implementation of business development strategies in the waste management and industrial services sector.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals specific to waste management and industrial services to prospective clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our products or services.
  • Conduct competitive analysis specific to waste management and industrial services to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities in waste management and industrial services, such as revenue growth, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development or a similar role, specifically in the waste management or industrial services sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing new business opportunities in waste management or industrial services.
  • Strong knowledge of market research and analysis techniques specific to waste management or industrial services.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders in the waste management or industrial services industry.
  • Exceptional presentation and proposal writing skills specific to waste management or industrial services.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and identify innovative solutions in the waste management or industrial services sector.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive for achieving targets and objectives in waste management or industrial services.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and conferences in the waste management or industrial services sector.
