Senior Psychology Technologist

Conducts research, therapeutic sessions, family and patient counselling, patient interviews, and assessment tests, and designs and implements behavior modification programs.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide the highest quality, multi-specialist technical expertise and support to staff and family and patient. Serves as a primary source of expertise when demonstrating the safe use of specialist Psychological equipment, software and techniques to staff.
- Obtains patient's data and medical history through patient and family interviews and through observation of patient's behaviour.
- Provides direct implementation of programming within a one to one teaching environment or small groupteaching environment and collects data within direct implementation of programing.
- Responsible for graphing data collected on a daily basis, summarizes, and draws analysis from data.
- Evaluates client progress and adjust programming as needed and provides closed observation to therapists (BCaBA/RBT)
- Participates in clinical, basic, and translational research projects and publishes papers in accordance with Research Advisory Council Policy in order to advance knowledge, improves the quality of postgraduate education, and contributes to the national and international recognition of the Hospital.
- Assigns work to Psychology Technologist and ensures that assigned work is completed. Resolves issues related to patient schedules and enhances patients flow in assigned area.
- Registers detailed medical history, creates a plan for patient management, and follows up for discussion with the treatment team headed by a consultant.
Education:
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Psychology is required.
Experience Required:
Grade 09:
Two (2) years of related experience with Master's, or four (4) years with Bachelor's Degree is required.
Grade 10:
Four (4) years as Senior Psychology Technologist at KFSH&RC, or (Grade 09) of related experience is required.
Average of annual performance appraisal at least (3.5) for the last four (4) years.
One hundred 100) hours of cumulative continued medical education CME.
Other Requirements(Certificates):
Current Registration from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.
