As a Maison Assouline – Store Director, your primary responsibility is to oversee the operations and performance of the Maison in specific location. This includes setting strategic goals, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, monitoring financial performance, and managing a team of staff.

The Store Director will have selective legal authority to enter into contracts, represent the company in legal matters on behalf of the organization, and other administrative tasks related to running the business in the country. Overall, role as a Store Director will require strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, as well as a deep understanding of the regional market dynamics and business environment.

Business Management

·Developing and implementing strategic business plans to achieve company goals and objectives for Maison Assouline.

·Leading and managing staff to ensure optimal performance and high levels of productivity.

·Monitoring and analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.

·Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in each country.

·Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, government officials, and business partners.

·Collaborating with senior leadership to share best practices staying informed about market trends, competitive activity, and regulatory changes to drive overall organizational success.

·Providing regular reports and updates to senior management on performance metrics, key initiatives, and challenges in your region.

·Identifying and implementing measures to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.

·Representing the Maison at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the brand and network with potential business partners.

Operations Management

·Manage and oversee the entire Maison retail and F&B operations.

·Execute CRM strategy that establishes strong client relationships that allow for continuity, guest satisfaction, and long-term representation.

·Execute Maison Assouline vision, strategy, inventory accuracy, and plan to drive top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.

·Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.

·Monitor program adoption by retail sales associates and deliver training to build skills and change mindsets.

·Contributes to identify training needs and is able to follow-up with proposals on learning journeys intended to develop Maison staff's competences.

Qualifications

·5 years of experience as a General Manager or similar role with hospitality encouraged.

·5 years of experience customer service management

·Familiarity with retail POS and restaurant management software

·Strong leadership, motivational and people skills

·Good financial management skills

·Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

·Good time-management skills

·Great interpersonal and communication skills
