The Job Opportunity
To provide expert technical knowledge and guidance to ensure the smooth functioning of the system.
The Technology Advisor typically reporting to the Project Manager

The reporting system would facilitate regular communication and collaboration between the two parties to ensure that the system is functioning optimally and contributing to the project's success.

The key purpose

To ensure that the automated system for managing the fleet of vehicles is functioning optimally and efficiently, minimizing downtime and costs, and ultimately contributing to the success of the project.

They can also provide insights and recommendations for innovation and improvement to ensure that the system stays up-to-date and continues to meet the changing needs of the project.

Key accountabilities
Develop software and databases requirements, develop software designs, databases, software development and databases.
Establish a unified operation and maintenance program linking the various branches of the Ministry with the Ministry's office
Establish unified electronic databases compatible with the Ministry's regulations.
Allocate reports, control panels and develop policies, procedures and controls to ensure data integrity in the software and databases.

Should be responsible for developing a technology strategy for the project, which may include identifying new technologies, tools, and platforms that can enhance fleet management operations.

Should be responsible for selecting and managing technology vendors for the project, which may include negotiating contracts, managing relationships, and ensuring that vendors meet project requirements.

Should be responsible for implementing and integrating new technologies, tools, and platforms into the fleet management system, ensuring that they are configured correctly and function properly.

Should be responsible for managing data generated by the fleet management system, ensuring that it is accurate, consistent, and accessible.

They may also analyze this data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Should be responsible for ensuring that the fleet management system is secure and that sensitive data is protected from unauthorized access.

Should be responsible for providing training and support to project team members and end-users on the use of new technologies, tools, and platforms.

Should be responsible for documenting technology decisions, preparing reports, and communicating with stakeholders to provide updates on the technology aspects of the project.

10 years minimum work experience in similar role
Strong understanding of the technology landscape, including the latest trends and advancements. He/ She should be familiar with different programming languages, software development methodologies, and other technical skills.
Deep understanding of the industry they are advising on, including the business models, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Should be able to analyze data and information in order to identify patterns, trends, and insights. He/ She should be able to use data to make informed decisions and provide recommendations to their clients.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in order to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Should be able to identify and solve problems quickly and effectively. He/ She should be able to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Should have strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. He/ She should be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage relationships effectively.
Degree holder of Engineering
