Role Description:

As an Advisor at Innovative Solutions, you will provide strategic cybersecurity guidance and consulting services to clients.

Your role will involve assessing their current security posture, identifying vulnerabilities and risks, and designing and implementing effective security solutions.

You will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and objectives, and provide recommendations to enhance their security posture.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cybersecurity assessments and audits to evaluate clients' current security posture.
  • Identify vulnerabilities, risks, and gaps in clients' security systems and processes.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their specific security needs, objectives, and compliance requirements.
  • Design and implement cybersecurity solutions, including security policies, procedures, and technical controls.
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of security projects, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Provide expert guidance and advice to clients on cybersecurity best practices, industry standards, and emerging trends.
  • Assist clients in responding to cybersecurity incidents, conducting investigations, and implementing remediation measures.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Keep up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, and proactively educate clients on potential risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities and contribute to proposal development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
  • At least 58 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on consulting or advisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, standards, and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
  • Experience in conducting cybersecurity assessments, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Deep understanding of security technologies and controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, encryption, etc.
  • Experience with cloud security principles and solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
