MEA Data Analytics

In this role, you will be responsible for managing MEA Analytics & Insights-related activities to the business unit, to ensure and deliver on the Department's mandate and identify improvement opportunities that will contribute to the delivery of short and mid-term strategic objectives within set KPIs, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures. In this role, you will be working directly with senior stakeholders within the assigned functions to address business questions, proactively tackle key decisions, and provide impactful insights and recommendations to optimize STA plans.

You will be responsible for

Contributing to the design and implementation of the Division's strategy and roadmap by providing function-specific inputs

Establishing and implementing the Department's operational plans in support of the Division's overall strategic plan and KPIs

Preparing the BU Analytics & Insights Department annual budget and participating in the Division's budgeting cycle and process

Utilizing and managing BU Analytics & Insights Department's budget effectively, and reporting accurately on progress made and challenges encountered

Investigating and proposing the implemented strategies that result in a positive financial impact for STA and mitigate financial and operational risks

Preparing research, data, and analytics plans to address business priorities and knowledge gaps, collaborating with BUs and the tourism data & Insights function to align on methodology, budget, scope, and delivery of research requirements

Identifying key primary, secondary and tertiary data sources to collect required data and information for the purpose of analysis and collect data accordingly

Working closely with data science and engineering team and other TDI departments to develop requisite statistical/ machine learning/ AI models for research and analysis which enables meaningful and value-adding information and insights to be derived from collected data

Checking internally and externally with contracted vendors to assess if required data has already been compiled and / or analyzed and leverage it to minimize rework

Contracting with third-party vendors to obtain relevant data and insights

Collecting/extracting and clean data, and working with data science and engineering to ensure it is structured appropriately for use

Utilizing statistical/ machine learning/ AI data analytics models and generate insights

Collating outputs from research & other findings and developing reports as per agreed formats

Preparing and publishing periodic and ad-hoc business analytics and insights reports on various topics that are of relevance to STA

Collecting stakeholder feedback on submitted reports and leveraging it to enhance future delivery

Analyzing tourism trends to better understand consumer behaviors across time periods, destinations etc.

Supplying country managers with regular reports and resources to optimize business plans and ensure the achievement of set targets

Preparing periodic reports on the achievements related to respective market tourism

Leading the development of data-driven mechanisms to improve the implementation of business strategies

Monitoring and reporting on sales and distribution of various products in the respective markets

Proposing improvements to BU Analytics & Insights Department's policies, and ensure the implementation of procedures and controls across all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high quality and cost-effective results

Monitoring day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures

Stimulating subordinates and contributing to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes taking into account leading practices, changes in the business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement

Managing, guiding and assisting direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures

Participating in identifying and recruiting key talent for BU Analytics & Insights Department

Promoting a high-performance working environment embracing STA's values

Building and maintaining solid relations with external stakeholders such as governmental entities and consultants to serve STA's best interest

Providing assistance across the organization and support peers when needed to perform their duties

Approving reports and presentations related to BU Analytics & Insights Department activities and achievements for reporting and decision-making

Performing other activities as and when required

You will need:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred

master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred

At least 10 years of experience in BU Analytics & Insights, or other relevant field

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

المساهمة في تصميم وتنفيذ استراتيجية القسم وخطة العمل من خلال توفير مدخلات خاصة بالوظيفة

إنشاء وتنفيذ الخطط التشغيلية للإدارة لدعم الخطة الاستراتيجية الشاملة للقسم ومؤشرات الأداء الرئيسية

إعداد الميزانية السنوية لقسم التحليلات والرؤى في وحدة الاعمال والمشاركة في دورة وعملية إعداد ميزانية القسم

استخدام وإدارة ميزانية قسم التحليلات والرؤى في وحدة الاعمال بشكل فعال، وإعداد التقارير بدقة عن التقدم المحرز والتحديات التي تمت مواجهتها

دراسة واقتراح الاستراتيجيات المنفذة التي تؤدي إلى تأثير مالي إيجابي على هيئة السياحة وتخفيف المخاطر المالية والتشغيلية

إعداد خطط البحث والبيانات والتحليلات لمعالجة أولويات العمل والفجوات المعرفية، والتعاون مع وحدات الأعمال ووظيفة البيانات والرؤى السياحية للتوافق مع المنهجية والميزانية والنطاق وتقديم متطلبات البحث

تحديد مصادر البيانات الرئيسية والثانوية والثالثية لجمع البيانات والمعلومات المطلوبة لغرض التحليل وجمع البيانات وفقًا لذلك

العمل بشكل وثيق مع فريق علوم وهندسة البيانات وإدارات تحليل الرؤى والبيانات الأخرى لتطوير النماذج الإحصائية / التعلم الآلي / الذكاء الاصطناعي المطلوبة للبحث والتحليل والتي تمكن من استخلاص معلومات ورؤى مفيدة وذات قيمة مضافة من البيانات المجمعة

التحقق داخليًا وخارجيًا مع البائعين المتعاقدين لتقييم ما إذا كان قد تم بالفعل تجميع البيانات المطلوبة و/أو تحليلها والاستفادة منها لتقليل إعادة العمل

التعاقد مع بائعين خارجيين للحصول على البيانات والأفكار ذات الصلة

جمع/استخراج البيانات وتنظيفها، والعمل مع علوم وهندسة البيانات لضمان تنظيمها بشكل مناسب للاستخدام

الاستفادة من نماذج تحليلات البيانات الإحصائية / التعلم الآلي / الذكاء الاصطناعي وإنشاء رؤى

جمع مخرجات الأبحاث والنتائج الأخرى وتطوير التقارير وفقًا للتنسيقات المتفق عليها

إعداد ونشر تقارير تحليلات الأعمال والرؤى الدورية والمخصصة حول مواضيع مختلفة ذات صلة بـالهيئة السعودية للسياحة

جمع تعليقات أصحاب المصلحة على التقارير المقدمة والاستفادة منها لتعزيز التسليم في المستقبل

تحليل اتجاهات السياحة لفهم سلوكيات المستهلكين بشكل أفضل عبر الفترات الزمنية والوجهات وما إلى ذلك

تزويد مديري الدول بتقارير وموارد منتظمة لتحسين خطط العمل وضمان تحقيق الأهداف المحددة

إعداد تقارير دورية عن الإنجازات المتعلقة بسياحة الأسواق المعنية

قيادة تطوير الآليات القائمة على البيانات لتحسين تنفيذ استراتيجيات العمل

المراقبة والإبلاغ عن مبيعات وتوزيع المنتجات المختلفة في الأسواق المعنية

اقتراح تحسينات على سياسات قسم التحليلات والرؤى في الهيئة، والتأكد من تنفيذ الإجراءات والضوابط في جميع مجالات النشاط بحيث يتم استيفاء جميع المتطلبات الإجرائية/التشريعية ذات الصلة مع تقديم نتائج عالية الجودة وفعالة من حيث التكلفة

مراقبة الأنشطة اليومية لضمان الامتثال للسياسات والإجراءات المنصوص عليها

تحفيز المرؤوسين والمساهمة في تحديد فرص التحسين المستمر للأنظمة والعمليات مع مراعاة الممارسات الرائدة والتغيرات في بيئة الأعمال وخفض التكاليف وتحسين الإنتاجية

إدارة وتوجيه ومساعدة التقارير المباشرة لأداء عملياتها الوظيفية وفقًا للسياسات والإجراءات المحددة

المشاركة في تحديد وتوظيف المواهب الرئيسية لقسم التحليلات والرؤى للقسم

تعزيز بيئة عمل عالية الأداء تحتضن قيم الهيئة

بناء والحفاظ على علاقات قوية مع أصحاب المصلحة الخارجيين مثل الهيئات الحكومية والاستشاريين لخدمة مصلحة الهيئة

الشهادات/الخبرات المطلوبة

ما لا يقل عن 10 سنوات من الخبرة في نفس المجال

درجة البكالوريوس او اعلى في إدارة الاعمال او ما يعادلها
