A leading international consultancy specializing in delivering comprehensive project management solutions in Saudi Arabia are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team.

This position is based in a remote location in Saudi Arabia with a focus on education projects.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful delivery of education projects from initiation to completion.

With your extensive consulting experience and construction expertise, you will play a key role in driving project performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and fostering effective communication among stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage education projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Develop project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and procurement strategies, to ensure effective project execution.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure effective coordination and delivery of project milestones.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, prepare progress reports, and communicate project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Proactively identify project risks, issues, and challenges, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project deliverables.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members, promoting a positive and productive working environment.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure effective cost control measures are in place throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on construction and consulting within the education sector.
  • Consulting experience
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Must be based in Saudi Arabia
  • Must be able to start as soon as possible.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering education projects of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Solid understanding of Saudi Arabian construction regulations, codes, and practices.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
