Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain thermal insulation systems for industrial projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, instructions, and specifications to determine insulation requirements
  • Cut, fit, and shape insulation materials to the required size and shape using hand and power tools
  • Secure insulation with adhesives, staples, tapes, or mechanical fasteners
  • Ensure proper sealing and weatherproofing of insulation materials
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of insulation systems
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
  • Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Thermal Insulator or similar role
  • Indepth knowledge of insulation materials, techniques, and safety procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
  • Strong mathematical and measurement skills
  • Excellent handeye coordination and physical dexterity
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
