Parsons is looking for a skilled Lead Interface Engineer (MEP) to be part of our team and play a vital role in the design and construction of an advanced stadium.

The Lead Interface Engineer (MEP) will be in charge of bringing technical expertise and leadership in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems integration and coordination to ensure smooth communication and collaboration among different parties throughout the project.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the MEP design coordination process, ensuring seamless integration with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive MEP design solutions meeting project requirements and standards.
  • Review MEP design documents, specifications, and drawings to identify conflicts and constructability issues.
  • Provide technical guidance during procurement, installation, and commissioning to ensure project adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Act as the main contact for MEP-related matters, facilitating communication and issue resolution among stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor MEP system installation progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare technical reports and updates for project management and clients.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 18+ years of MEP engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with FIFA guidelines for stadium design and construction is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MEP design software like AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, and Navisworks.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven track record of leading MEP engineering teams and delivering projects within scope and budget.
