Summary:


The Security Governance Manager shall be responsible for ensuring security awareness, security compliance and risk assessment functions within the Bank.

Security Governance Manager supervises Security Awareness and Security Risk Assessment and Compliance teams.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of security policies, standards and other requirement statements needed to support information security throughout the Bank
  • Develop and maintain the Bank security risk framework
  • Conduct security risk assessment ongoing basis
  • Keep track and mange high-risk categories
  • Evaluate Internet & network security in the bank
  • Conduct Security Compliance Reviews for all bank environments to identify any security mis-configuration or gaps.
  • Ensure Security Compliance with the Bank security policies.
  • Ensure Security Compliance with regulatory requirements like SAMA, Tadawul, and PCI-DSS.
  • Ensure that ongoing Information Security awareness education and training is provided to all Bank employees and customers.
  • Ensure Network security, database security, and Operating systems security.
  • Initiates and manages special projects related to information security that may be needed to appropriately respond to ad-hoc or unexpected information security events.
  • Participate in the Change Management Committee.
  • Coordinates security penetration testing process in the bank.
  • Attends to any other relevant duties as assigned.

Relationships:

Relationships with all Bank groups involved with information security matters like Information Technology Group, Legal Department, Internal Audit Department, Risk Management, Business and support Groups.

External

Relationships:
Relationships with external information security regulatory organizations like SAMA

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Familiar with data/communication security systems preferably in a Banking environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with Management skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree, BS in Computer Science or Engineering or any other relevant field.
  • At least 5 years information security experience and 5 years of experience on Information Technology.
  • Certification in Information Security field is highly recommended.
  • On hand experience in Structured Security Analysis, developing security awareness programs; Information Security Standards; and Security Risk Assessment.
  • Good level of Arabic and English interpersonal skills and communication skills both written and oral.
