Job Summary:


The Cleaning Team Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.

The supervisor will assign tasks, provide training, and monitor performance to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Additionally, the supervisor will assist in inventory management, equipment maintenance, and client communication to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:
Supervise cleaning team members, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support as needed.
Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and professionalism. Motivate and inspire team members to achieve performance goals and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Task Assignment and Scheduling:
Coordinate daily cleaning schedules, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed on time and according to company standards.
Assign cleaning duties to team members based on workload, skill level, and availability.
Monitor progress throughout the day, adjusting schedules as needed to accommodate client requests or unforeseen circumstances.

Training and Development:
Provide training to new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of equipment and chemicals.
Conduct regular training sessions to reinforce best practices and address any areas for improvement.
Identify training needs and opportunities for skills development to enhance team effectiveness and efficiency.

Quality Assurance:
Inspect work areas regularly to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with company standards and client expectations.
Address any issues or deficiencies promptly, providing feedback and coaching to team members as needed. Implement quality control measures to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

Client Communication:
Communicate with clients to understand their cleaning needs, preferences, and feedback.
Address client inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a professional and timely manner, seeking resolution and ensuring client satisfaction.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through regular communication and exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in cleaning management or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in cleaning operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally withclients and team members.
  • Detailoriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate business operations.
  • Valid driver's license is a plus.

Salary:
