Lead, manage, direct, and monitor the activities of the Ground Handling function and ensure that Ground Handling Operations are designed, developed, and implemented in alignment with the company's strategic direction.

• Contribute to the formulation of the company's corporate strategy
• Develop the Operations Support and Airport Ground Handling strategy to ensure that the vision, mission, and strategies are cascaded appropriately
• Oversee and lead vertical and horizontal alignment/integration of all functional strategies across the operations
• Monitor the development and implementation of Ground Handling Function\'s policies, procedures, and processes
• Monitor performance of the Ground Handling Function against KPIs and objectives on a regular basis. Recommend improvements and efficiencies in line with the corporate priorities.
• Validate and approve the annual budget of the Ground Handling Function in collaboration with Finance

• Oversee Ground Handling operations at all airports and ensure the highest level of service delivery is being delivered
• Set and direct the periodic revision of Ground Handling streams while coordinating properly with key stakeholders across the company
• Act as the principal Ground Handling advisor to executive leadership, including providing advice on the formulation of overall Ground Handling policy and strategy
• Drive a strategic approach into the management of Ground Handling related matters
• Develop and implement departmental strategies and related strategic plans, which are aligned with the vision and mission of the company, and which support the Airports adequately
• Ensure the development of effective working relationships between Ground Handling sections and other functions
• Oversee and supervise support service delivery to the various airports via the different Business Partners (HR, Finance)
• Monitor and facilitate business development activities and build strong relationships with key airlines to benefit from potential business opportunities and ensure continuous growth
• Oversee and lead Ground Handling Account Management including renewing existing contracts and winning new accounts in close liaison with Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer
• Monitor maintenance activities in the Airports and ensure a proper management of operations teams' and outsourced resources' schedules in order to increase efficiency, productivity, and cost effective operations
• Ensure a proper customer support is provided to the airlines / customers by supervising the ground services equipment activities and facilities
• Ensure a proper implementation of all Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental standards, policies and procedures, and their alignment with the standards set by the HQ Support Services Function, and ensure their effective compliance with legislative requirements and policy

• Provide professional development support and perform periodic performance reviews for direct subordinates based on Performance Management System
• Develop workforce plans and succession plans with the Human Resources Function for key positions in the Ground Handling Function
• Work with the Human Resource Function to provide employees within the Ground Handling Function with the required competencies through appropriate and blended learning

• Minimum of a Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration
• MBA or Master\'s in a relevant field is a plus

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with at least 8 years of experience in a managerial role.
