About the Opportunity:
At Jacobs, we push the limits of what's possible to make the world smarter and more connected.

We are playing a key role on one of the most iconic giga projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, arguably one of the largest projects in the world.

Jacobs is looking for a Marina - Director Project Control.

The selected individual will be accountable for the implementation and oversight of the Project Controls function across this unique project.

You will responsible for the Planning, Cost, Risk, Reporting and Document Control functions.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Establishing operating policies to mitigate risk
  • Provide guidance and consultation for all stakeholders
  • Guide and direct resolution of project difficulties and complex project control issues
  • Identify and communicate design changes, scope changes and schedule slippages and potential impacts and participate in the identification of mitigations
  • Oversee project baseline process for cost, schedule and progress and ensure all project systems are implemented according to process and company standards and procedures
  • Establish risk management protocol which includes identification, documentation, mitigation and tracking of potential risks on the projects. In addition, determine potential cost and schedule/progress impacts of potential risks as they are identified

Here's What You'll Need:

  • Be degree educated
  • 20+ years of experience
  • Previous experience establishing and leading a Project Controls function is critical
  • Proven Project Controls experience on major Infrastructure, Port or Marina projects
  • Strong background with complex integrated schedules
  • Full project lifecycle experience design and build
  • Able to reside in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
  • Experience working in both a contract and consultancy environment would be beneficial
