Pastry Chef

Embark on a journey with us as a Pastry Chef at the First Vignette Collection in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Carliton Almoaibed Hotel). We are in search of candidates with ambition, talent, and essential skills. This role requires someone with primary responsibility for leading the pastry department and overseeing the creation of all pastry items.

A little of your day-to-day:

• Develops and creates innovative dessert menus and recipes.
• Manages and supervises the pastry team, ensuring all members are trained and performing at their best.
• Inspects all pastry items upon completion to ensure they have been prepared correctly and attractively.
• Oversees the procurement of ingredients, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintains high standards of hygiene and safety in the pastry kitchen.
• Collaborates with the executive chef and other culinary team members to integrate pastry items into the overall menu.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

What we need from you:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
• Exceptional ability to create and develop a variety of pastries, desserts, and other baked goods.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Keen attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.
• Comprehensive knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.
