Summary


We're looking for an enthusiastic High school Math Teacher, who will be a key member of the department and will be responsible for delivering the HS curriculum.

The teacher will be primarily responsible for teaching High School students for the academic year 2023/202- Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection)
  • Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the goals and objectives of a clearly defined and documented curriculum
  • Deliver an active, handson, and studentcentered program to promote learning in mathematics courses for high school level students
  • Maintain student's attendance records, grades, and other required records
  • Maintain a safe learning environment for students at all times
  • Assist students who need extra help with their coursework outside of class
  • Observe, monitor, and record student progress
  • Respond appropriately to the range of individual needs and abilities within the class
  • Collaborate with colleagues

Experience

  • Prior experience as a high school math teacher (preferred)
  • Experience teaching conceptual math
  • Experience with Google Suite or Microsoft Office
  • Deliver a program according to the precepts of the Common Core Standards, but within an international context

  • Sound knowledge of math for high school level
  • Excellent command of English, both written and oral
