Manager, Housing Stores

Manages the daily activities of Stores and Warehouse and supervises the receiving, storing, and distribution of warehouse stock and supplies to housing units.
Ensures that the Hospital policies and procedures are applied.Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluates work orders upon receipt, checks work schedule of subordinates, and assigns the work to subordinates and ensures that the tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Determines supplies stock level of housing items, plans quantity needed based on available data, prepares and submits supply requisitions to re-order items with low shelve inventory, and submits purchase orders for equipment, materials and other non-stocked supplies; also, follows up status and coordinates approval, as needed.
- Performs periodic evaluation of housing equipment, furniture and furnishings, and household appliances.
- Prepares and submits proposals for upgrading and/or replacement taking into consideration the cost impact to the departmental budget. Initiates disposal process to obsolete and totally depreciated items. Participates in the evaluation of loss of or damage to housing property; and submits recommendation, as applicable.
- Develops plans to address the depreciation of housing/building components, such as elevator carriages, main entrance doors floor coverings, and other amenities. Coordinates with various service departments to initiate repairs and/or replacement, as needed.
- Coordinates the development and implementation of computerized inventory system.
- Develops, plans proposals to contribute to the cost containment programs of the Hospital, and ensures the proper utilization of recycled and set-up items without affecting quality of Hospital standards; also, oversees segregation, cleaning, repairing, and shelving of returned set-up items.
- Prepares periodic reports and random audits of warehouse items, initiates steps to maximize utilization of warehouse space, maintains records of transactions, prepares disposal lists for worn-out household furniture, appliances and set-up items; also, ensures that the annual physical inventory is properly conducted and that all stored items are accounted for.
- Develops training programs, and participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable; also, ensures that subordinates receive proper training, particularly on safety procedures.

- Follows all Hospital-related policies and procedures.
Education:
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or any related discipline is required.
Experience Required:
Three (3) years of related experience including two (2) years of a managerial capacity with Master's Degree, or five (5) years of similar qualification with Bachelor's Degree is required.
Other Requirements(Certificates):
Saudi National Only.
