The Boeing Company is seeking a
UI&UX Designer Graduate to join our team located in
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This programme commences July 2024 and will be a 6 months full time, fixed term contract.

Located in our state-of-the-art facilities, this role offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of aerospace through innovative user interface design and user experience strategies.

As a User Experience Specialist at Boeing, you will be instrumental in developing intuitive and engaging digital solutions that meet the high standards of our global user base.


Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and identify user needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, designers, and product managers, to ensure a seamless and cohesive user experience across all touchpoints.
  • Create and maintain design documentation, including user stories, flow diagrams, and wireframes.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in user experience design and recommend innovative solutions to improve product usability and satisfaction.
  • Facilitate workshops and design sprints to ideate and cocreate solutions with team members and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of new and existing features and make recommendations for improvements based on user feedback and analytics.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Experience in UI/UX design, interaction design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or InVision.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a usercentered design approach and problemsolving skills in digital interfaces.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Excellent visual design skills, with an eye for detail and consistency.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present design concepts and strategies clearly to a wide range of audiences.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of web and mobile app development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience in aerospace, aviation, or complex systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
  • Certification in UI/UX design, such as Nielsen Norman Group or Interaction Design Foundation certifications.

Key Relationships:

  • You will report to a Senior Manager.
  • You will work under the supervision of the Technical Lead.
