General Manager- Large Rehabilitation Facility, Riyadh


• A large, highly equipped medical rehabilitation and special needs education facility in Riyadh;

• Recruiting for the position of General Manager;

• Applicants should have extensive experience in hospital administration and demonstrate appropriate competence in healthcare management.

Parkhouse Bell is representing a large, multi-faceted clinic in Dubai that is looking for a general manager to join their administrative team. You will be required to manage the costs, delivery and quality of healthcare services within the facility.

JOB SUMMARY

• Should possess excellent leadership and managerial acumen in leading the management staff and allied healthcare providers working within the facility.

• Demonstrates professional and clinical leadership to all the physicians and administrative staff.

• Aware of medical malpractice protocols.

• Must have a keen interest to formulate and implement clinical strategy as well as relevant clinical standards and policies in accordance to the Group's model for clinical governance.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Demonstrate excellent problem solving and decision making skills.

• Computer literate.

• Well organised with good time management skills. Ability to work on own initiative and facilitate work of others

• Flexible, proactive team player.

• Has the ability to analyse complex issues, identify potential solutions, reach sound judgments and decisions and deal with difficult decisions that may arise.

• Tact, diplomacy and political awareness.

• Flexibility and ability to cope with a changing environment

• Works with other management members to ensure that the facility meets its corporate and clinical governance responsibilities.

• Take the lead in the recruitment of medical practitioners and allied healthcare staff.

• Responsible for doctors' schedules and leave administration.

• Ensures that medical and allied staff will perform within their scope of practice.

• Sees to it that the facility's quality management and improvement programs are implemented.

• Adopts a patient-centred approach in the management of patients and ensure that client expectations are met at all times.

• Represents management in various medical committees and other related bodies.

• Actively participates in networking with referral hospitals and community based specialists to support the clinical strategy of the facility.
