Job Summary

  • The Planning Engineer will be responsible for scheduling & planning of day to day and Shutdown activities in coordination with Workshop Supervisors, Regional Manager and STO Project Manager along with communicating with customers. _
  • The Planning Engineer shall monitor the present & incoming workload and ensure resource availability to meet customer requirements. _
  • He will monitor, track and update job tracker to ensure meeting the required deliverables. _
  • Planning all depot activities and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely and guide the Service Coordinators in technical related aspects.
  • Act as single point of contact with Aramco MSSD department
  • Coordinate internally with LCS Team, Sales Team, Emerson Project Manager to understand incoming workload to be able to align and schedule local resources.
  • Perform regular monitoring and follow up of Critical orders (example: order for shut down)
  • Access Serial cards to check BOM and determine required spare parts to complete the repair activity.
  • Engages with vendors to ensure consumable needs are met and required spares for Equipment maintenance.
  • Planning and Prioritization of jobs based on criticality and spares availability.
  • Ensure daily update of Master Planner for both Depot and field services.
  • Validate the customer requested dates feasibility inline with current workload.
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose improvement on Service process workflows.
  • Collaborates with supervisors of both Central & Jubail new facility and Engineers to receive schedules in a timely manner and avoid scheduling issues.
  • Ensure that the job order work scope is well defined and complete.
  • Ensure that all documents such as datasheets & SDS are received from LBP/customer prior to execution.
  • Ensure that all documents such as purchase order, datasheets, SDS & other relevant documents are saved in SharePoint for internal reference.
  • Work/Liaise with Supervisors/Leads related to manpower, tools, and equipment gate pass and training requirements for the job.
  • Review customer scope and other technical documentation that operation team would need to execute the job.
  • Request datasheets and other documents from Customer/LBP and Sales.
  • Support STO Manager on manpower allocation.
  • Develop new vendors for manpower supply, welding & machining, and consumables.
  • Support in maintaining spreadsheet for STO orders to capture manhours, consumables & other expenses for work efficiency & GP traceability.
  • Prepare daily reports and job tracker for STO related activities.
  • Planning and coordination of customer visit for STO's and inspections
  • Adherence to STO processes throughout all steps implementing and maintaining check lists for all tasks.
  • Issue Job packs to Supervisors and engineers by working closely with the Customer service team.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service team for Invoicing of completed jobs.
  • Maintain compliance and procedures as per Emerson policies and procedures.
  • Work Closely with Regional Service Manager to Ensure delivery and execution of high standard of lifecycle services.
