Job Purpose:

  • Evaluate the market demand and sales plan in order to develop, implement, monitor and improve short and long term production plan, taking under consideration the operational and logístical constraints.
  • Responsible to develop a supply scenario of feedstock, monitor the availability and control the utilization of feedstock in order to meet the production plan.
  • Maintains the execution of the production plan in order to evaluate the accuracy of the production plant in terms of actual production volume.
  • Manage the material flow in terms of input and output inventory and align it with the production plan to satisfy the customer needs.
  • Lines up market demand, production capability, supply scenario, inventory management and logistics plans.
  • Participates in the meetings with SABIC affiliates, MCC, SBU, and SABIC T&I for providing technical inputs for new grades, products, future business plans and expansions.
  • Manage the feedstock Supply contracts, SA Gas Supply Contract, Utility Agreements, Shared Service agreements, Marketing and offtake agreements.
  • Monitors Production Cost, participate in annual budgeting process, coordinate with SABIC MCE on performance targets.
  • Prepares Business Case for plant improvements, new product introduction.
  • Preparing grade wise / product costing analysis for and Marketer's operations.
  • Declaration of delivery price based on market intelligent report.
  • Settle netback report with Finance

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead operation planning activities through daily production planning, sales planning and feedstock and utilities requirement through implementation, communication and administration of section objectives on both a short & long term basis.
  • Lead 1+4 Year Business Plan development for the Company in line with SABIC Guidelines and capability plan
  • Support Company budget preparation based on the 1 + 4 Year BP as well as track YEE and endYear targets vs actual spends. Update COGNOS and SAP Budgeting Module.
  • Review the longterm needs and availability of all the major feedstock and alternative actions. Periodically engage with the feedstock suppliers to evaluate the trends.
  • Monitor material price changes that impact Variable Costs including but not limited to catalyst chemicals and additives
  • Monitor capacity capability and manufacturing process that includes but not limited to product warehouse, production stages, and input capacity
  • Execute tasks systematically on SAP PP & MM Modules
  • Monitor Complex and departmental fixed cost and Variable manufacturing cost control
  • Lead financial scenarios analysis and financial planning. Engage with SMT to drive Company's performance in the best interest of its shareholders & other stakeholders.
  • Perform sales analysis to ensure maximum company profitability
  • Utilize financial, business, logistics, decision analysis and other models including data analytics and predictive analysis to support business decisions at site, SBU, and corporate level. Develop specific models using spreadsheet to solve problems.
  • Understand the costing structure of all products
  • Monitor risk related to the business & collaborate with SABIC ERM. Monitor new risks, track and report status of risk mitigation plans and closures.
  • Lead month end closing activities for financial closing. Lead product costing, inventory valuation and all management reporting requirement.
