Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a risk management strategy and framework for the project, ensuring that it aligns with project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a risk register and risk management plan, identifying and assessing risks and their potential impacts on the project.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and analyses, identifying emerging risks and opportunities, and developing mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure effective risk communication and management.
  • Facilitate risk workshops and discussions with project team members and stakeholders, promoting a culture of risk awareness and management.
  • Ensure that all risk management activities comply with project standards, policies, and procedures, as well as local and international regulations.
  • Provide regular risk reports to the project leadership team, highlighting key risks and mitigation actions.
  • Provide risk management training and guidance to project team members and stakeholders, promoting a culture of risk awareness and management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in risk management for large infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles, practices, and tools.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing risk management programs for large infrastructure projects, with a focus on quality, safety, and schedule.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
  • Willingness to work on a demanding project schedule and to relocate to North West Saudi Arabia for the duration of the project.
