Sales Account Manager
This role is for a permanent placement based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known company with an international presence with some travel required. This role is available due to an internal promotion.
Job Summary:
You will be a qualified Engineer who is from a technical background and a strong communicator in the fields of Petroleum or Chemicals.
With at least 5 years proven sales experience within Saudi you will be solution focused for your customers, driving sales and business opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Achieve the agreed Sales revenue requirements across Middle East & Africa
- Provide and negotiate proposals and pricing for customers
- Maintain effective communication with clients with a technical understanding
- Grow existing accounts and a focus on new business opportunities
- Support regional and global business key account management
- Drive and support the regional team for growth and increased revenue
- Collect and document market trends and insights
- Coordinate field trials for oilfield chemicals and link between new business and product management
The Successful Applicant must have:
- Bachelors Degree or Higher in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of chemical sales experience focusing on oilfield chemicals in Saudi Arabia
- Self Drive be motivated to close a sale
- Confident influencing relationship skills to people of all levels
- Excellent communication ability and with customer facing presenting experience
- Sound Computer and strong analytical/forecasting skills.
- Critical thinking ability to think outside the box and be solution focused
- Proven experience in key account management
- English Ability to a professional level
- Fluent Arabic is a bonus
