Position Summary

The Sales Manager – Reality Capture will be responsible for driving revenue and margin growth through the development, planning and execution of the sales strategy for our Reality Capture product line in Saudi Arabia.

The Sales Manager – Reality Capture is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Increase market share by managing sales leads through to closure and monitor against approved budgets to ensure financial results are on, or ideally above, target and implement plans to counteract deviation
  • Engage with customers by providing product and application training; job site demonstrations, training, assist in field troubleshooting and assist in product and solution installations
  • Translates customer problems and requirements into business solutions using existing hardware and software products/solutions and supports sales efforts for existing and prospective customers
  • Become an expert in the features, benefits and application of Leica Geosystems/Hexagon products and solutions
  • Share and communicate customer challenges and requirements to internal product development teams to enable translating into workable solutions. Provide market intelligence to product development teams on competitive products, solutions and activities
  • Assist existing Dealer Sales Representatives by providing product and application training; job site demonstrations, installation scheduling, assist in field troubleshooting and assist in product and solution installations
  • Negotiate sales contracts and associated product supply milestones
  • Implementation of new products and features in line with product launch and marketing plans
  • Represent Leica Geosystems in industry events and tradeshows and collaborate with the Marketing Communications Group
  • Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts as required
  • Assist in the development of sales / marketing tools and reports
  • Liaise with Finance department for management of receivables
  • To ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the company's Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE), Ethics & Compliance policies, etc.

Education, Experience, Training and Special Skills

  • A degree in Surveying, Construction, Civil or BIM, or a related discipline is preferred but not required with at least 6 – 10 years of experience selling related product lines
  • Must have a good working knowledge of , Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and E-mail
  • Strong organization and management skills including the ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams, motivate and mobilizing people via excellent communication and clear objectives, and demonstrate commitment to exceeding customer expectation
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven ability to motivate and drive employees to achieve results
  • Ability to work independently to solve problems, as they arise and under pressure and deadlines
  • Extensive knowledge of the construction industry
  • Strong presentation skills especially in groups and forums of customers
  • An aptitude for developing plans and strategies to succeed
  • A passion for achieving business goals and sales targets
  • A passion for superior product delivery and customer service and an appreciation for the need for a positive end-user experience
  • Ability to travel as required - there is a considerable amount of travel required to fulfill this role
  • Fluent in English and command over other regional languages will be an added advantage

Physical Demands / Work Conditions

Frequent travel within the country (40 – 60%) and intermittent international travel, as required
