Logistics responsibilities.

  • Drive a competitive exercise in compliance with 3rd party goods and services standards.
  • Manage and expedite internal Purchase Order approval per DOA.
  • Drive logistic & sourcing strategic task with intention of cost benefits for organization.
  • Vital focal point between vendors and supply chain logistics team.
  • Interact and awareness about the other process and functions like finance, logistics, planner, and productions.
  • Involve in master scheduling process to negotiate the lead time of deliveries.
  • Coordinate with production engineers for BOM, Ordering, till Warehouse receiving.
  • Engage and coordinate with project managers/leads to understand the requirements to find alternative or and expedite products.
  • Worked and engaged with global vendors in expediting their goods and services.
  • Maintain Oracle system data to ensure accuracy during the entire ProcuretoPay cycle.
  • Identify appropriate commercial obligations, contract templates and all requirements and technical specifications for delivery.
  • Identification of execution risks and presence of mind for timely escalation.
  • Negotiates and records all cost savings.
  • Arrange receiving and inspection of goods whenever it is required.
  • Support overall suppliers evaluation in terms of deliveries and cost.
  • Maintain database of projects and evaluate the progress in the EPP system.
  • Perform regulations and compliance analysis.
  • Participate in Category Management support with supply chain analyst.
  • Proactive and timely resolution of all expediting related issues.
  • Participates in quality audits, internal audits with internal and external authorities.
  • Proactively and timely engage in communicating with internal customers and suppliers.
  • Maintain the competences in our supplier development processes relative to fiduciary responsibility.
  • Ontime delivery of goods and services is key expectation.
  • Proficient with Oracle business system is required
  • Subject matter expert of INCOTERMS, Local CUSTOMS regulations
  • Maintains records of necessary documents on document management system (PO, OA, invoices, shipping documents).
Payment responsibilities

  • Checking all payment supporting documents and make sure they are in compliance with the PO/contract terms.
  • Following up all payment progress, solving problems and communicating timely with related department.
  • Prepare & send the progress report to management team weekly on SC meeting
  • Tracking and pushing with suppliers for the ontime delivery of invoice or any other supporting documents for prepayment, progress payment, contract amount and guarantee, in accordance with the PO/contract terms.
  • Review and resolution of invoice discrepancies for requisitions.
  • He/She must be the link between Supply Chain Department and Finance Team.
