Overview / Responsibilities


SISCO is currently looking for Mechanical Equipment Engineer to work in engineering department in EPC projects (with experience in Saudi Aramco, OMPP projects).


  • Manage / technical responsible for various equipment on projects, such as Choke Valves Skids, MPFM Skid, Corrosion Inhibitor Skids and Scale Inhibitor Skids, MEG (Mono Ethylene Glycol) Injection Skids, Burn Pit Skid, scraper launchers and receivers Skid, Air Blower Skid, Methanol Injection Skid, Annuli Riser Skid, Air Cooler.
  • Familiar with the Saudi Aramco Standards, relevant International Standards for mechanical equipment.
  • Preparation of design verification report for mechanical equipment.
  • Review of client's general specification and creating new project specifications for mechanical equipment.
  • Preparation of equipment data sheets / specifications for mechanical equipment.
  • Design, specification, selection, and procurement of mechanical Equipment and packaged equipment.
  • Experience in the use of approved Saudi Aramco design software for mechanical equipment.
  • Preparation of technical part of Request for Quotation (RFQ's), performing vendor's technical bids evaluation and preparing technical part of conforming Requisition (PO's) for the selected vendors.
  • Review and approval of vendor's documentation. Coordination with Vendors to follow up schedule / engineering and cost related matters.
  • Assistance and support to construction and commissioning activities.
  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring of schedules and Manhours.
  • Interact with the Clients, Project Management and other Disciplines to achieve the design objectives.
  • Perform cost & time estimation for the proposal.
  • Conducting site visit and collect all required information.
  • Participate in design review meetings as per project requirements and incorporate client comments on the submitted deliverables.
  • Resolve of all technical issues during construction/ commissioning and ensure that all the works done on site are in accordance with the issued for construction (IFC) drawings, contract documents and project specifications.
  • Suggest ways to improve efficiency, costs and service in the execution of projects.
  • Supporting estimation, procurement and construction departments as required.
  • Preparation of redline drawings and Asbuilt packages.
  • Informs Project Management Team of any change in scope.
  • Prepare design change notification (DCN) report for additional scope of work and take approval from Client.
  • Perform such duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Engineering Manager.
Skills / Qualifications

  • Experience with approved Engineering Contractor in KSA / GES+ is required.
  • Experience with Saudi Aramco, OMPP projects is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or similar.
  • Proven track record in FEED/Detailed Design experience.
  • Experience with Saudi Aramco/Sabic/Sadara is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint is required.
  • Experience in the use of approved Saudi Aramco design software for mechanical
equipment.
