Job Description

Scope and Objectives: To coordinate between the engineering team to ensure all maintenance activities are completed on time, coordinate with other departments to fulfill their engineering requirements, and monitor and prepare required reports on a day-to-day basis to facilitate necessary actions.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

  1. Managing general hotel gardens maintenance including basic carpentry and minor painting and decorating.
  2. Monitoring preventive maintenance files daily and communicating with the team.
  3. Documenting preventive maintenance records and updating reports in the Engineering store.
  4. Assisting team members in finding records and documents.
  5. Preparing and maintaining the engineering library and training room.
  6. Organizing and coordinating department section meetings.
  7. Documenting all training records and representing Engineering department in meetings if advised.
  8. Monitoring guest satisfaction reports related to the Maintenance department.
  9. Addressing department team grooming and work safety issues.
  10. Documenting work accidents and following up.
  11. Coordinating with other departments as assigned and communicating necessary information to the engineering team.
  12. Collecting feedback from the team and reporting to superiors.
  13. Ensuring good communication between Engineering Department and other departments.
  14. Updating engineering consumptions data such as electricity, fuel, gas, water consumption, and swimming pool readings daily.
  15. Assisting Engineers in preparing material requisitions.
Qualifications

Qualification Standards

Education: High School graduate or equivalent required. At least a 2-year college (associate) degree preferred.

Experience: Five years' experience in the same field in hospitality.
