The Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • Being the contact person for accounting matters for entities and promote excellent relationships with the clients of the company.
  • Reviewing work performed by offshore teams and ensure its accuracy.
  • Timely submission of NAV to the clients in line with the SLA signed by the clients.
  • Ensuring all work undertaken complies with the respective fund's terms and conditions, relevant regulatory requirements and antimoney laundering regulations.
  • Maintaining compliance with the firm's policies and procedures
  • Deputising if required during line manager's absence.
  • Communicate any issues of concern to the Line manager(s)
  • Always follow company procedures.
  • Promote excellent relationships with the clients of the company.

Skills Required:

  • At least 23 years plus experience preferably as fund accountant or equivalent.
  • Strong Educational Background, preferably accounting.
  • Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Macros in Excel (Experience in Paxus is required).
  • Proactive and willing to drive things forward.
  • An ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Flexible in work approach due to nature of the role to meet client deliverables.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a pressurised environment.
  • Capacity to problemsolve and ability to deal with complex issues.
  • A participative management style that aims to motivate staff and develop their skills and capabilities.
  • Experience in the allaround process of fund administration including, Calculation of NAV, Pricing, Processing of Corporate Actions, Calculation of Performance Fees, Shareholder Services, AML and KYC verifications
