We are currently looking for
Equestrian Operations Manager in Al Ula KSA,** with a demonstrated experience in the operational management of similar projects.


Equestrian Operations Manager is typically responsible for a range of responsibilities related to the management and oversight of equestrian facilities, programs, and staff.

This role requires a deep understanding of equine care, stable management, and equestrian activities.

Job Summary:

The Equestrian Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an equestrian facility.

This role involves managing the care and well-being of horses, coordinating equestrian programs and events, ensuring facility maintenance, and leading a team of staff members.


Responsibilities:

Equine Care and Welfare:

  • Supervise the care, feeding, grooming, and overall wellbeing of horses.
  • Implement and maintain proper veterinary care, vaccination schedules, and farrier services.
  • Monitor and manage horse health, addressing any medical or behavioral issues promptly.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of stalls, paddocks, and pastures.

Facility Management:

  • Oversee facility maintenance, including barns, riding arenas, fencing, and equipment.
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance schedules, and improvements as needed.
  • Manage feed and supply inventory, ordering necessary items to maintain operations.

Equestrian Programs:

  • Develop, coordinate, and manage various equestrian programs such as riding lessons, training sessions, and horse shows.
  • Collaborate with trainers and instructors to ensure the quality and safety of instructional programs.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and make adjustments to meet customer needs and business goals.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage equestrian staff, including stable hands, trainers, grooms, and administrative personnel.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and ongoing training to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
  • Create staff schedules, manage work assignments, and evaluate performance.

Customer Relations:

  • Interact with clients, riders, and horse owners to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships within the equestrian community to promote the facility's reputation.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce safety protocols for staff, riders, and visitors to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to equine care, facility operation, and employee safety.

Budget and Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for horse care, facility maintenance, programs, and other operational expenses.
  • Monitor expenses and revenues, identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and revenue generation.

Event Coordination:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee equestrian events, competitions, and clinics hosted at the facility.
  • Coordinate event logistics, participant registration, and facilities preparation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Equine Science, Equestrian Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in stable management, equine care, and equestrian program coordination.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of equine health, nutrition, and behaviour.
  • Understanding of equestrian industry trends and best practices.
  • Organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Budgeting and financial management capabilities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.


As the Equestrian Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the success of the equestrian facility, ensuring the well-being of horses, providing quality programs, and fostering positive relationships within the equestrian community.
