Applicant must Master both Arabic and English language

Payment of salaries allowances travel claims and other payments to experts and consultants vendors and other claimants;

Maintain cash books including control of disbursements and balancing of books and ledgers;

Prepare financial data for budget estimates and financial planning;

Control of petty cash statement replenishments of funds and adjustment & reconciliation

Draft budgets and budget revisions as required and prepare cash flow statements

Maintain financial working files and records;

Verify the existence of the appropriate supporting documents;

Draft general correspondence (and emails) related to finance;

Ensure the timely submission of yearend inventory of nonexpandable property (in collaboration with the Procurement Officer for PERSGA and the projects);

Reconciliation of accounts between ledger books and bank accounts

Ensure that data entered into the FMIS is cross verified with other data;

Verify and certify that travel claims has been authorized and are correctly completed and all items claimed attachments are valid audit documents; Ensure that computations are done correctly;

Generate financial and expenditure statement reports and submit to the Secretary General on quarterly basis.

The candidate should have adequate practical knowledge of the Good Governance and principle of The International Standards of Audit and Accounting.

Fully cooperate and provide assistance to PERSGAs external auditors to enable them carry out the annual audit of PERSGAs financial and administrative records and prepare fair and true audit reports.

The candidate is in charge of preparing the financial reports that shall be presented at the annual PERSGA Council and Focal Point Meetings. These reports are: Financial Position Work Plan & 2Year Budget report and End of Year Audited Report.

Perform any other duty as requested by the Secretary General;
