Objective:
The ERM & BCM Consultant will be responsible for performing and advising the Risk Management and Business Continuity Management Functions.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
Conduct deep dive analysis in the organization's risk registers (Strategic and project, technology, operational risk registers) to ensure that the risk information is accurate and is reflected with defined mitigation strategies and appropriate risk ratings.
Conduct Risk and Control Self Assessments with appropriate stakeholders and ensure that Key Risks and their metrics reflect key risks faced by the organization.
Ensure that the Risk Management and business continuity framework is applied within the organization, furthermore, provide support in the continual development of the Risk and Business Continuity framework in accordance with best practices.
Support in Business Continuity and crisis management activities as well the automation of Risk Management activities.Monitor and follow up with risk owners on the status and progression of treatment plans, furthermore, assist the risk owners in the development of additional treatment plans.
Prepare presentations for the head of the risk as needed and performs other related duties as assigned.knowledge transfer and awareness to ERM and BCM Team and relevant stakeholders additionally continual ad-hoc support to stakeholders during the Secondment phase.
Support the delivery of Business Continuity implementation programs and cover all aspects of the Business Continuity and Resilience Lifecycle along with preparing Business Impact Analysis (BIA)exercises as per the BCM framework.
Identifies and implements recovery operations and methods to allow the company to function at limited or partial capacity if part or all of the infrastructure is damaged or destroyed additionally collaborates with IT staff to develop and implement best practices to protect and restore data.
Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-level business continuity strategies and plans furthermore create and facilitates practice drills for business continuity plan execution along with support in the development and maintenance of business recovery plan.
Analyze corporate intelligence data to identify trends, patterns, or warnings indicating threats to the security of people, assets, information, or infrastructure.
Evaluates capabilities demonstrated during the simulation exercise and advise on opportunities for improvement and in managing unmitigated risks uncovered during exercises.
Supports planning for critical systems recovery prioritization and identifies responsibilities for contingency planning. along with designing, implementing and improving cross-functional programs that enable the recovery of critical business functions.Ensure that ESG requirements are incorporated within the Risk Management Framework.
Required Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business or a relevant domain is required
10+ years of relevant experience in Business Continuity management and risk management (operational and technology risk).
Full understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (operational and technology risk) and Business Continuity Management related fields.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English language.
Must hold Formal Certifications in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Business Continuity Management (BCM) Techniques and methodologies i.e.
BCM / CBCP / BCCP / Certified ISO 22301, PMI-RMP etc.Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
