Parsons is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team In this role you will lead the Project Management team of a Major Roads PMO.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead meetings with key stakeholders such as consultants, contractors and authorities will be chaired by the PM and cochaired by the deputy program Manager if necessary.
  • The project manager will remain the section/module in charge from inception, to design to construction and hand over to the respective authority to ensure that operation is efficient.
  • The project manager approvals are limited to all documents except for contractual/commercial/cost related.
  • The project manager will be required to be present on site during construction in most of the times to ensure work completions on time.
  • Communicate with the Client representatives continuously regarding projects progress and areas of concern.
  • Exceptional Leadership Skills, possessing a collaborative management style, working in a multidiscipline team format.
  • Liaise with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Report all potential issues to management.
  • Hold Coordination meetings.
  • Works with other discipline managers to manage the technical aspects of design, procurement, implementation, and closeout per the program.
  • Assist in the review and determine the selection of all consultants/ contractors with the Client.
  • Assist in the monitoring compliance and performance of consultants and contractors with their program.
  • Assist in the development and administer project budgets and fiscal controls, contacts, and quality control provisions; perform project cost estimating and value engineering, as appropriate.
  • Assist to oversee all aspects of the daytoday management of the construction project; monitor and coordinate work performed by architectural, engineering and construction departments.
  • Ensure that project operations comply with design specifications and client requirements.
  • Establish performance and delivery criteria, meet client requirements, manage preparation of project's specifications, and manage/coordinate procurement appropriately

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Experience in executing Mega Projects. and PMO/PMC of Infrastructure programs
  • 20+ years of experience in managing mega Infrastructure projects/programs within the Construction/PMC industries.
  • Full knowledge of all project cycles and stages
  • Ability to think ahead, identify new opportunities and create new and innovative approaches to workrelated issues.
  • Strong organization and communication.
  • Excellent numerical and communication skills.
  • Professional Registration may be required

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience of working in KSA or GCC is preferred
  • Experience on working on Roads PMO/PMC programs
  • Strong Technical and Management experience is preferred
