  • Advising members of management as senior counsel.
  • Providing legal services for KSA's Consumer, Private Banking and Wealth Management activities (including consumer, wealth management products/terms and conditions and general queries).
  • Advising KSA's Consumer, Private Banking and Wealth Management teams to ensure that legal implications of business decisions are appropriately considered and that the banks operations are compliant with local and international legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Providing legal services for KSA's Corporate & Commercial activities including Operations (IT, procurement and real estate), HR, M&A, joint ventures, data protection, commercial and regulatory affairs, and other matters, in each case to support the delivery of the commercial and customer priorities of those functions of KSA in a manner compliant with KSA and the Group's legal risk appetite, internal policies and external Saudi legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Managing KSA Legal's Consumer, Wealth Management, Private Banking and Corporate & Commercial's functions in the delivery of high quality and commercially focused legal services that protect KSA and the Group's interests and manage legal exposure within legal risk appetite as defined and understood by KSA and the Group.
  • Advising KSA's Corporate & Commercial management teams to ensure that legal implications of business decisions are appropriately considered and that the banks operations are compliant with local and international legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Assisting KSA in understanding its legal risk appetite and, participating in the implementation of a legal strategy, plans and programs across KSA to enable the organisation to deliver on its commercial and customer priorities.
  • Anticipating, identifying and managing legal risks, and initiating corrective action where necessary, in order to protect the interests of KSA and the Group. The role will also involve the management of relationships with external counsel and ensuring that external counsel service and costs are appropriate at all times, and that external counsel deliver effective advice.
  • Managing mid-level and junior team members comprised within KSA Legal's Consumer, Wealth Management, Private Banking and Corporate & Commercial team.
  • Being involved in the provision of legal training (either by Consumer, Wealth Management, Private Banking team and Corporate & Commercial team) or by coordination with external counsel to internal colleagues on core areas of legal risk, as well as emerging areas of legal risk.
  • Demonstrating emerging skill levels in communication, influencing, commercial awareness, professional excellence and self-development, operational excellence and efficiency and in awareness and management of legal risk.
  • Managing transactions and projects without supervision.
