We are recruiting for our new project, The Qiddiya Speed Park. Qiddiya will be one of the key entertainment attractions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and is set to be the future capital of Entertainment, Sports and Culture.

The park will cover 252,000 square meters of land and will be home to 22 rides and attractions – including nine that will be world firsts. Visitors will also be able to enjoy nine innovatively designed zones – the Entry Gate, Camel Rock, Dub Grotto, Wave Wadi, the Den, Viper Canyon, Arabian Peak, the Herding Grounds and Surf Lagoon – inspired by the native animals that inhabit the area around Qiddiya.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated KSA National Architectural Coordinator to join our team in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:

The individual will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Tender & IFC information model issued by consultants (2D drawings, BIM models & asset data) as per ISO19650.
  • competing and/or conflicting elements into design deliverables & take necessary actions. (RFI, CVI, workshops etc).
  • the deliverables during the design and construction supervision stages to ensure the adherence to the contract documents and established project's objectives.
  • the design manager with the establishment of Project Design Management Plan, Project Execution Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, submittal planning and other documents as required.
  • multi discipline info and ensure liaise with all parties. Ability to foresee constraints and act.
  • and raise RFIs & CVIs. Ensure the response clarity on the queries raised.
  • the Design coordinator in the management of Subcontractor works and point out any technical deviation.
  • be responsible for ensuring the modeler/draughtsman have the correct information for updating the shop drawings. Ensure document submittals are completed in a timely manner
  • the Design team in sub-contractor coordination process.
  • to review & do follow up on DFC, EI or DCR.
  • direct work/Subcontractor's shop drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and contract.
  • and maintain up to date drawing delivery schedule. To ensure all work is passed to the document controller for publishing.
  • materials submittals and methods of working.
  • the Coordinator and Manager by providing information for site queries.
  • with the Planning Department to update the working program
  • the process of design abortive works claims due to IFC changes.
  • details & support Value Engineering process.
  • & ensure as-built/redline process. Collect the information for as built drawings, passing it to the modeler to complete the detailed drawing, then checking the details to ensure they are accurate.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent
  • 3 years' experience in the Architect Snr or similar role.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD & Autodesk Revit for Design review.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat & MS Office
  • Good written & Spoken English.
  • Revizto/ Naviswork

Preferable:

  • Master's degree in Architecture
  • Experience of working in Shared Collaborative Environment (CDE)
  • BIM principles & Basic awareness
