Organizes and manages the activities of Reprographics Services. Develops policies and procedures aimed to improve the services of the section to the Hospital. Provides administrative support to the Head, Office Services.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Organizes and manages the activities of the Section.
  • Develops and recommends section policies and procedures.
  • Develops work standards, supervises employees, assigns work, and evaluates employees' performance. Ensures employee adherence to quality standards, and policies.
  • Prepares and recommends plans in line with the mission, goals and objectives of the department.
  • Ensures that staff receives required training. Establishes training programs and participates in training staff.
  • Coordinates with Vendors in regards with specification of materials used in the Reprographics and approves the material specifications.
  • Prepares monthly, semi-annual and yearly reports based on the section activities. Maintains such records and establishes required files.
  • Researches and adopts new reprographic techniques, and recommends acquisition of Equipment.
  • Provides recommendations for new equipment technologies and for replacement of existing equipments.
  • Prepares budget, and monitors and keeps expenditures within budget. Establishes and maintains an effective cost control system for the section.
  • Prepares training and orientation schedule and conducts necessary training for all Reprographics staff.
  • Coordinates all equipment maintenance and repairs with respective departments.
  • Controls computerized logging system of requests received in Reprographics Section from all Hospital departments.
  • Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
  • Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education:

Master's or Bachelor Degree in the field of Management, Offset Printing, or any related discipline is required.

Experience Required:


Five (5) years of professional experience with Master's or seven (7) years with Bachelor's Degree in Offset Printing field, including two (2) years in a managerial position required.


Other Requirements(Certificates):

  • Knowledge of desktop publishing process required.
