Position Summary:


To coordinate, inspect and fix problems for smooth running of the Network operation of ISPC network Analyst, will play a critical role in safeguarding the technology (IT/OT) networks of ISPC.

You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents within environments, ensuring the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of critical infrastructure.

Your expertise in IT/OT network technologies, incident response, and vulnerability management will be essential in identifying and mitigating risks to IT/ OT Network and vindicating the impact of operational disturbance.


Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

  • Respond to emergency plant network outages in accordance with business continuity at First Escalation Level.
  • Design, deploy, and configure IT/OT networks, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other related OT network infrastructure components.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure network designs align with plant network operational needs.
  • Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting of Fiber Optics, UTP Cables, Switches, Passive Components and Wireless as a First line of action. Opening Support Tickets with Contractor for cases which need special equipment and expertise.
  • Install and integrate network devices, ensuring proper connectivity.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect IT/OT networks from unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on IT/OT networks to identify potential weaknesses.
  • Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  • In Addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, all other network, Avaya IT Telephony and CCTV network related activities will be included.
  • Maintain hardware inventory and keep network equipment up to date in SAP system.
  • This position requires availability round the clock to resolve network issues that affect business.
  • Perform regular network monitoring and analysis to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems, hardware and software issues, and configuration conflicts.
  • Coordinate with vendors and other technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
  • To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
  • To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
  • To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines, or equipment to concerned staff.
  • To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
  • To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
  • To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to the concerned responsible.
  • To attend safety training planned for them.
  • Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Setup of Routers and Switches at branches (if needed)
  • Perform test installations of monitoring tools in coordination with his supervisor.
  • Communicate transparently to higher management on operational issues.

Competencies:

  • Strong Experience in IT Network support & Administration.
  • Good Technical Knowledge of Fiber Optics, UTP and structured Cabling
  • Strong Analytical, problemsolving, multitasking and decisionmaking skills
  • Strong Understanding and experience of Cisco Switches, wireless devices, Network Topology
and Routing Protocols

  • Good understanding of documenting procedures and maintaining Inventory and Stock.
  • Good Understanding of ITIL skills as Incident Management, Change Management etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written, and verbal communication skills in English & Arabic
  • This position requires availability round the clock to resolve network issues that affect business.

Authority:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP) are desirable.
  • Network OT certifications are preferred.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting IT/OT networks, preferably in industrial or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, routing, and switching.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
  • Familiarity with network security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and virtual private networks (VPNs).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practice
