OVERVIEW:


The Assistant Marketing Manager will lead all marketing initiatives for our core target audience / operator groups and be responsible for engaging the sales team, drive growth for our top sellers and innovations through integrated online and offline campaigns, plan and execute the country data-driven marketing plans including an always-on social media content calendar.


THE ROLE:


In this role you will be responsible for the upper gulf region, consisting of the following three markets: KSA, Kuwait and Bahrain and will be reporting to the UFS Marketing Manager in Dubai.

The biggest opportunity and priority market is KSA, and we have been operating there with limited marketing support. Our goal is to drive exponential growth in Foods by unlocking the potential of the Away-from-Home market (i.e. restaurants, hotels, caterers).

You will have a "blank canvas" to experiment and test different ideas to find what works best for the target audience in this market.

You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing plans and activities.

You will also be able to leverage the insights, experiences and infrastructures/technology used by the rest of the GCC marketing team as well as the Global UFS team.

Main Accountabilities

Strategic:

  • Build local market understanding and customer insights.
  • Help create the annual marketing plan and content calendar.

Execution:

  • Implement integrated datadriven campaigns.
  • Execute impactful innovation launch campaigns for new innovations.

Tracking:

  • Track campaign KPI's, consolidate learning, and take corrective measures when needed.
  • Top 10 tracking including 6Ps, financial performance, reach & penetration.

Collaboration:

  • Working effectively with different functions, e.g., category marketing, digital, ecom, sales, and chefs' team and provide them with marketing support.

Project & budget management:

  • Manage operator marketing routine tasks, including managing production/procurement of marketing materials, POs and follow up for supplier payments on delivery, etc.
